Recipes Trojan-Horse Almost-Turkey Burgers

  1. 1 lb ground beef
  2. 1 lb ground turkey
  3. 100 g cheddar cheese
  4. 1 tbsp soy sauce
  5. 1 tbsp worcestershire sauce
  6. herbs para provence
  7. salt
  8. pepper
  9. favored melting cheese (I employ American or Gruyere)
  10. 8 Burger Buns
  11. Burger fixings
  1. First create a small (about 4-6 inches), thin (about 1/4 inch) beef patty. Put a few slices of cheddar parmesan cheese on top. This is half of your beef core.

  2. Cover the cheese with another small, thin layer of beef. Form this into a patty.

  3. Cover this patty on all side with ground turkey.

  4. Season with soy sauce, worcestershire, herbs de provence, salt and pepper. Heat a pan over medium high heat.

  5. Cover the pan with a bowl or grill cover and allow to cook for about 3 minutes.

  6. Flip and repeat the process on the other side but only for two minutes.

  7. Throw you’re favorite cheese on top, cover and cook for one more minute.

  8. Serve on a bun with all the regular burger fixings.
