Ingredients

  • 2 x 180g pkts white chocolate, coarsely chopped
  • 2 x 200g pkts milk chocolate, coarsely cut
  • 1/2 cup (125ml) thickened cream

Method

  • Step 1

    Place half the white dark chocolate in a heatproof bowl over a saucepan half stuffed with simmering water. Stir having a metal spoon until chocolate melts. Hold 2 tablespoons of chocolate.

  • Step 2

    Use a small clean brush to brush a thin layer of melted chocolate over 22 Easter-egg moulds. Set aside to create. Replicate with half the milk chocolate.

  • Stage 3

    Meanwhile, mix remaining white chocolate and half the cream in a heatproof bowl more than a saucepan half filled with simmering water. Stir having a metal spoon until chocolate melts and mixture is usually clean. Remove from heat and cover with plastic wrap. Place in the fridge, stirring occasionally, for 1 hour or until ganache thickens. Repeat with remaining dairy chocolate and cream.

  • Step 4

    Spoon white-colored and milk-chocolate ganache evenly among dark chocolate egg shells and smooth the surface. Place in the fridge for 15 moments to relax.

  • Step 5 Turn eggs on to a clean work surface. Melt set aside white dark chocolate. Brush edge of a white-chocolate egg cell shell with melted dark chocolate and meal together with another white-chocolate egg cover to make a whole egg. Set aside to set. Repeat with remaining melted white chocolate and white-chocolate egg shells.
  • Step 6 Melt reserved dairy chocolate and repeat with milk-chocolate egg cell shells.
