Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup (80ml) sunflower oil
  • 375g packet popcorn kernels
  • 1-2 tablespoons truffle salt (see notes) or sea salt flakes
  • 1 cup (80g) finely grated parmesan

Method

  • Step 1 Place 2 tablespoons oil and half the popcorn kernels in a large saucepan or stockpot over medium warmth. Cover and cook, shaking the pan, for 3-4 moments until all of the kernels have popped. Remove from heat and change out into a large bowl. Repeat with the leftover 2 tablespoons oil and popcorn kernels.
  • Step 2 When still comfortable, add truffle salt and parmesan to the popcorn, tossing well to combine, adding more truffle salt or parmesan to taste. Serve in cones produced from covering paper, or in big bowls.
