  • two 1/2 mugs (375g) self-raising flour
  • 1 teaspoon cooking powder
  • 3 or more teaspoons terrain ginger

  • .25 teaspoon terrain cloves
  • 180g butter
  • a single cup (200g) brown glucose
  • 1/4 glass (60ml) treacle
  • 1 egg, gently whisked
  • 1/2 cup (110g) demerara glucose


  • Phase 1

    Preheat oven in order to 180�C. Series 2 oven trays along with baking document.

  • Step two Combine the flour, cooking powder, ginger, cinnamon, cardamom and cloves in the large bowl.
  • Step 3

    Combine the butter, glucose and treacle in a little saucepan over low heat. Cook, mixing, to get 3 minutes or until butter touches and mixture is smooth.
