Ingredients

  • a few eggs
  • 1/2 cup (115g) caster sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla draw out
  • 1 mug (250ml) dairy
  • 300ml cream
  • Ground nutmeg
  • Sliced or chopped peaches, to function

Method

  • Step 1 Preheat stove to 180�C. Whisk the eggs and sugar in a bowl until the sugars dissolves. Whisk in the vanilla remove, milk and cream.
  • Step 2

    Pour the mixture right into a 4 cup (1 litre) ovenproof dish. Sprinkle the top with nutmeg. Place the dish in a roasting baking pan and pour enough boiling water in to come halfway up the part of the dish.

  • Step 3

    Bake for 40 moments, until the custard is just arranged — it will still be slightly wobbly, but will firm up on standing up. Eliminate the dish from the roasting pan, and serve warm or from space temperature with chopped fresh peaches.
