  • 1/2 cup (100g) yellow split peas

  • 1/2 cup (100g) red lentils
  • 500g butternut pumpkin, peeled, seeded, trim into 2cm parts
  • 1/2 little cauliflower, cut straight into small florets
  • 400g can diced tomatoes
  • 400ml can coconut milk products
  • 2 teaspoon garam masala
  • Coriander leaves, in order to serve

Saffron rice

  • 2 tbs ghee
  • 1 dark brown onion, finely cut
  • 2 mugs (400g) SunRice basmati rice
  • one tsp saffron strings
  • 3 mugs (750ml) water
  • Mint yoghurt, in order to provide
  • Naan bread, to provide


  • Step 1
