  1. 1 lb carrots
  2. .25 cup apple cider vinegar, red wine
  3. 2 tbsp coconut oil
  4. 2 tbsp honey
  5. just one tbsp olive oil
  6. a couple of strip steak, 1″ thick
  7. 1 kosher salt
  8. just one black self defense
  9. 1 chives

  1. Combine carrots, vinegar, coconut oil, darling cup water and tsp each salt and pepper in a large skillet. Cook, covered, over medium-high heat until crisp-tender, 8 – 10 minutes. Reveal and cook, stirring occasionally, until almost all the liquid had evaporated and the various begin to caramelize, 2 — 3 minutes. Remove from heat, add 1 Tbsp water, and toss until carrots are coated with the glaze.

  2. Meanwhile, heat the oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Season the steaks with tsp each of salt and pepper. Cook until an instant-read thermometer inserted in to the thickest steak registers 130 Farrenheit, 2 – 4 minutes per part for medium-rare. Let rest for 5 minutes; thinly slice against the feed.

  3. Serve the various and steak and sprinkle with chopped chives.
