  1. 2 moderate hamhocks (or smoked meats)
  2. 6 cup water
  3. just one medium onion, minced
  4. three or more stick celery with foliage
  5. 2 clove garlic, minced
  6. 1/2 tsp salt
  7. 0.5 tsp black pepper
  8. two medium potatoes, diced
  9. three or more medium carrots ( or even 1/2 bag baby carrots cut directly into 3rds)
  10. 2 medium gulf leaves
  11. 1 tbsp dried up parsley
  12. 2 cup dried up split peas
  13. 1/4 cup oil (this is important because this makes your beans or peas have got the thick gravy)

  1. In a 5 qt pressure cooker put the hamhoocks or an items of soup bone.. include celery, onion, garlic…. salt in addition to pepper…. let cook for 50-55 minutes on Med pressure. RAPID RELEASE PRESSURE…

  2. Pressure cookers are diverse but mine informs me how very much liquid I have…. so I actually remove my meat and help to make sure I have 5-6 glasses of broth… if not you can also add water…. 1/2 cup broth = 1 cup peas… I actually add additional liquid because I actually want soup….

  3. I add oil in this article (though I prefer Bacon drippings)….

  4. Place all other ingredients into stress cooker and return hamhocks…. close up cooker and reset for twenty five more minutes..

  5. Once its done enable to cool off normally… any time pressure is released remove hamhocks and they also should fork tender… enable them to cool and get rid of bone and chop up in portions an add to split peas….

  6. ***CAN USE A HAM STEAK OR EVEN LEFT OVER HAM FROM THE PARTICULAR HOLIDAY.. CAN USE BONE…. I HAVE HAD THE BUTCHER CUT UPWARDS AN OLD FASHIONED BONE INSIDE HAM… INTO SERVING SIZE PARTS FOR BEANS..
