  1. 8 cup ap flour
  2. 2 packages active dry yeast rapid rise
  3. 1/4 cup lukewarm water
  4. 1 tsp sugar
  5. 2 cup milk scalded
  6. 2 tsp salt
  7. 1/2 cup sugar
  8. 2 large eggs beaten
  9. 1/3 cup melted butter
  10. 1/3 cup melted vegetable shortning

  1. Shift flour and measure

  2. Mix yeast and lukewarm water add sugar let sit 10 minutes.

  3. In s 4 quart/liter bowl combine hot milk with salt sugars and cool till lukewarm temperature, add yeast mixture and eggs and stir thoroughly.

  4. Beat in half the flour until smooth, then the cooled shortening. Stir in all but 2 tablespoons of sleep of thr flour mix in thoroughly by hand. Turn out on board or pastry cloth sprinkle with rest of flour cover with bowl let sleep 10 minutes.

  5. Then knead till dough is usually smooth and elastic about 10 moments adding more flour for kneading

  6. Shape into ball set right into a bowl you can spray with nonstick or grease the bowl with vegetable shortening. Then spray the top part with nonstick cover with damp fabric, let it rise about 1/2 hours

  7. Preheat oven 400 Fahrenheit after the 1/2 hours

  8. Punch down on the bread turn dough over again, let rise till double then shape rolls because desired. Put on pan brush with melted butter bake 20-25 minutes till browned on top
