Recipes Pep Cake (ITAK GURGUR)

  1. 250 gr rice flour
  2. 1/4 coconut, grated and steamed quickly
  3. 100 grms brown sugars (to taste)
  4. 2 tbsp granulated sugar (adjust sweet taste )
  5. 0.25 tsp vanilla powder
  6. 0.25 tsp sodium
  7. Enough hot water

  1. Mix the rice flour, coconut, sweets, vanilla powder and salt.
     If using roasted rice flour: add water gradually (so that the dough will come together), stirring until blended.

  2. Add brown sweets into the dough, stir again uniformly.

  3. Lightweight and shape the dough mix by simply clenching it in the fist firmly, consequently that the cake is formed and easily fall apart.

  4. Itak Gurgur is all set to be served along with tea leaf or coffee.
