Recipes Ginger Mascarpone Frosting

  1. 1/4 tsp salt
  2. 1/2 tsp vanilla extract (I use extra)
  3. 2 cup sifted confectioners’ sugar
  4. 2 tbsp heavy cream
  5. 4 oz cream cheese, room temperature
  6. 1/3 cup minced crystallized ginger (not in syrup)
  7. 12 oz Italian mascarpone cheese, room temperature

Recipes Ginger Mascarpone Frosting

  1. In the bowl of an electric mixer fitted with the paddle attachment, beat the mascarpone, cream cheese, confectioners’ sugar, cream, and vanilla together for about 1 minute, until light and comfortable.

  2. Add the salt and crystallized ginger and beat for 30 seconds more.

  3. *This recipe makes enough frosting to frost 1 9 inch cake. *
