  1. 1 tbsp light brown sugar
  2. 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon salt
  3. 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  4. 1/8 tsp pepper
  5. 2 tbsp olive oil
  6. 1/2 tsp basil leaves
  7. 6 cup assorted cut up vegetables, such as asparagus, yellow squash, zucchini, red onion, sweet potato, and bell peppers

  1. Mix brown sugar, basil, salt, garlic powder, and spice up in a small bowl.

  2. In a large bowl, drizzle oil over vegetables.

  3. Toss nicely to coat.

  4. Add seasoning mixture.

  5. Toss nicely to coat.

  6. Place vegetables in the grill basket or rack, or thread onto skewers.

  7. Grill over moderate heat 10 to 12 moments or until vegetables are soft, turning occasionally.

  8. *If using sweet potatoes, pierce them with a shell and microwave 2 to a few minutes on high or until tender, before grilling. *
