  1. 6 small to medium granny smith apples (or any kind of apples you prefer)
  2. 3/4 cup white grape juice or apple juice (can use water if you dont have any juice on hand-I just use juice for extra flavor)
  3. 6 oz fresh raspberries
  4. 1 lemon, juiced

  1. Core and peel your apples (I personally leave the skins on to get a more rustic applesauce with the in addition of added nutrients from the skins)

  2. Slice the apples in addition to cut them into medium sized pieces.

  3. Add the apples in order to a large saucepan. Pour in juice/water in addition to then add lemon juice. Mix properly.

  4. Add fresh raspberries, combine and cover pot to boil regarding 5 minutes. Once boiling reduce temperature and simmer for 15 to something like 20 minutes stirring occasionally until apples are usually soft and divided to a big but thick applesauce.
