  1. 1 kg hake
  2. 4 eggs
  3. 250 ml sunflower oil
  4. flour
  5. salt
  6. 1 lemon, cut into quarters

  1. Using the part of the hake behind the head in the fish, get rid of all skin and bones and cut about 3 cm thick.

  2. Season the slices with salt in addition to dust with flour.

  3. Drop in beaten egg and fry upon both sides until golden brown.

  4. Drain any excess oil making use of kitchen paper and then place upon a serving plate with the ” lemon ” quarters.
