Recipes Portuguese Island Shrimp (Spicy)

  1. 1/2 onion (or 1 small one)
  2. 5 garlic cloves minced
  3. 1 tbsp pimenta (Portuguese pepper, Or sambal OR crushed chills)
  4. 2 heaping tsp tomato paste
  5. 1 tbsp olive oil
  6. 1 bottle beer (your fave beer)
  7. 2 lb frozen raw-skin on shrimp
  8. 1 tbsp chopped parsley

  1. Heat olive oil and Sautee onions and garlic.

  2. Add tomato paste and pimenta (or crush soup sauce) cook 2 min

  3. Add whole bottle of beer and even let arrived at rolling boil.

  4. Add frozen shrimp (Add this frosty, while it melts/cooks it will put nice shrimp flavor to broth)

  5. Season with salt to style. Let everything cook on medium small for another 15-20 min until liquor from beer cooks out and flavours get delish.

  6. Garnish using parsley an serve with nice crusty bread for dipping in the hot and spicy shrimpy broth: ) enjoy.
