  1. 4 Pears
  2. 1 tbsp sunflower oil
  3. 3 tbsp dessert wine

Recipes Pears in dessert wine

  1. Peel the pears, slice in half length ways plus remove the cores

  2. Heat the sunflower oil in a non-stick frying pan over a medium warmth and place the pears in the pan turning them over so that all sides are usually golden brown (about 5 mins)

  3. Spread the dessert wine over the pears – cover the frying pan and cook until the pears soften (another 5 minutes approx)

  4. Remove the pears from your frying pan and place on the plate flat side facing up-wards

  5. Put the remaining juice in the fryng pan over the pears.
