  1. 225 grms peeled and sliced nana smith apples
  2. 225 grams peeled and sliced pears
  3. 170 grms soft brown sugar
  4. one tbsp cornstarch
  5. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  6. 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  7. 1/2 teaspoon ground allspice or nutmeg
  8. 1/4 tsp salt
  9. four tbsp sunflower spread and butter, divided
  10. Crumble Leading
  11. 110 grams plain and gluten-free flour
  12. 50 grams sunflower spread / butter
  13. 30 grms sugar

  1. Preheat oven to gas 6 / 180C / 350°F

  2. For the filling toss the fruit, brown sugar, cornstarch, spices, salt and sunflower spread together in a large bowl, then put into a large greased oven dish

  3. Combine the flour and butter with your fingers to make crumbs, add the sugar and sprinkle it thickly over the fruit
