  1. 600 grms white fish fillets
  2. just one tbsp lemon juice
  3. two hundred grams chickpea / g flour / gluten-free flour
  4. 1/2 lot fresh coriander, finely cut
  5. 1 green chilli, deseeded if desired and finely chopped
  6. just one tsp salt
  7. 1/2 teaspoon ground turmeric
  8. 200 milliliters water
  9. Sunflower oil for deep frying

  1. Cut the fish into bitesize parts and toss gently in the citrus juice to marinate

  2. Combine the flour, coriander, chilli, salt plus turmeric in a bowl and include the water to produce into a mixture

  3. Layer the fish in the batter plus let sit for 15 minutes

  4. Meanwhile, heat the oil in order to deep fry the fish, a moderate heat is good. Fry the parts until golden brown, around 5 a few minutes

  5. Remove the fish plus let drain on kitchen towel. Terry off any excess oil. Nice offered on a bed of lettuce along with lemon wedges
