Recipes Tortellini & Asparagus

  1. 1 lb . Fresh asparagus
  2. 1 lb . Cheese tortellini (I utilized frozen)
  3. 1 can Petit diced tomatoes drained, or 1-2 mugs fresh diced tomatoes
  4. 1/4 cup Olive oil
  5. 5 clove Garlic, minced (2 tablespoons)
  6. one tbsp Dried basil
  7. one tsp Red pepper flakes
  8. 2 tbsp Balsamic white vinegar (optional)
  9. 1 as required Parmesan cheese, toasted Italian bread breadcrumbs, or crushed croutons for topping

Recipes Tortellini & Asparagus

  1. Bring a new pot of water into a boil.

  2. Lean bottom ends of asparagus and discard (about just one inch). Now chop other asparagus in bite sizing pieces (1-2 inches).

  3. Add tortellini in addition to asparagus to boiling normal water and cook about 5-8 minutes until asparagus is usually tender-crisp.

  4. Strain pasta and asparagus. Established aside.
