Recipes Spicy pickles

  1. 1 medium Thai chili pepper
  2. 8 small pickling cucumbers
  3. 1/3 cup kosher salt
  4. 1 bay leaf
  5. 1/2 tbsp turmeric
  6. 1/3 tsp garlic cloves
  7. 1 tsp mustard seed
  8. 1/2 cup water
  9. 1/2 cup distilled white vinegar

  1. Boil the vinegar and water.

  2. Add cucumbers to jar

  3. Add pepper, and garlic to a liter jar that has been sterilized. Add bay leaf, salt, turmeric, plus mustard seed to jar.

  4. Pour hot vinegar solution over the top of cucumbers till total. Add lid let cool. As it cools it will result in a suction plus seal lid.

  5. Let sit 2 weeks. Refrigerate after opening. It will last as lengthy as a normal jar of pickles
