Recipes Asparagus Rolls

  1. 24 thin asparagus spears trimmed to 5 inch lengths
  2. 12 slice thin white bread
  3. 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  4. 2 tsp lemon juice
  5. 1 tsp dill weed
  6. 1 tsp tarragon leaves

Recipes Asparagus Rolls

  1. Cook asparagus in boiling water for 1 minute.

  2. Rinse with cold water.

  3. Trim crusts from bread slices.

  4. Flatten slices with a rolling pin.

  5. Combine lemon juice, mayonnaise, dill weed and tarragon.

  6. Spread mixture evenly on both sides of bread.

  7. Place 2 asparagus spears on center of each bread slice.

  8. Carefully roll up and secure with wooden toothpick.

  9. Place on baking sheet.

  10. Bake at 450°F for 8 minutes or until golden.

  11. Remove toothpicks before serving.
